Ringette Nova Scotia will be training Come Try Ringette Master Learning Facilitator’s (MLF’s) on July 17th, 2010. Ringette Canada’s Club Coordinator, Monty Aldous, will be coming to Halifax to provide training for these individuals. Additional Come Try Ringette MLF’s in Nova Scotia will help us continue to grow by building leadership capacity.
A Come Try Ringette MLF trains association and RNS volunteers on how to effectively deliver the Come Try Ringette program to children. These individuals should,
- Be passionate about Ringette and want to see it grow and develop;
- Have some experience in Ringette administration and/or working with volunteers; and
- Be comfortable leading roughly 3 hours of group discussion and activities, based on an established curriculum using workbooks and a facilitators guide.
Suitable candidates must be available to attend the Ringette Canada training on July 17th, and be willing to commit to the instruction of at least one Come Try Ringette training session per year in Nova Scotia.
