NS CWG 2027 Assistant Coach Announcement

Ringette NS is pleased and excited to announce the selection of Jill Dobbin and Scott MacDonald as Assistant Coaches for Team NS at the 2027 Canada Winter Games. Jill and Scott join Head Coach, Jody Trethewey, on the road to CWG 2027.

Jill Dobbin

Jill is incredibly proud and excited to join the coaching team as they work together to build something special for Nova Scotia. Jill believes in building confident, disciplined athletes and high-performing teams rooted in trust, accountability, and shared purpose. She has spent years investing in player development, mentoring young athletes, and creating environments where individuals are challenged to grow, compete, and lead.

Scott MacDonald

Scott is honoured to be selected as an Assistant Coach for Team Nova Scotia Ringette at the 2027 Canada Winter Games. Having coached at all levels of ringette since 2009, he is committed to athlete development and applying sport science to benefit athletes and teams. Scott looks forward to supporting athletes on their path to success alongside the team coaches and staff.
