Ringette NS AGM

The 2025 Ringette NS Annual General Meeting will be held Sunday, September 14th at 9am at Greenfoot Energy Centre.

 

Election of Directors and Officers 

The following Directors shall complete their term with Ringette NS at the upcoming AGM: 

1. Denise Beaton, President: Assumed the role in July of 2023.Eligible for a second term. Reoffering.  
2. Rachel Furey, Secretary: Assumed the role in October 2021. Eligible for second complete term. Not reoffering.
3. Beth Vallis, Director - High Performance: Assumed the role in February 2022. Eligible for a second complete term. Not reoffering.
4. Alyson Lamb, Director - Coaching: Assumed the role in June 2022. Eligible for a second complete term. Not reoffering. Resigned in July. 
5. Director - Marketing and Promotions: currently vacant.
6. Director - Provincials and Tournaments: currently vacant.

 

Since being constituted in March, the Ringette NS Nominating Committee has been working diligently to identify quality candidates for the vacant board positions and we are pleased to report that we have candidates to nominate for all of the vacant board positions, except the Central League Regional Director, who will be elected by the Central Region’s member associations.  

 

Candidate information will be released on Sept 1st, 14 days prior to the AGM. In the meantime, in keeping with the Bylaws, the link to the nomination form for Members is below. The Members of Ringette NS are Berwick and District Ringette Association, Halifax Hurricanes Ringette Association, Harbour City Lakers Ringette Association and Nova Central Ringette Association. Any Member may nominate individuals by providing notice to the Nominating Committee by August 30th, not less than sixteen (16) days before the AGM.
